UNESCO World Heritage - the water management system of Augsburg

Location: Meeting point: 10.20 h, Conference counter in the Kongress am Park

199 kilometres of watercourses flow through the city of Augsburg. The oldest water towers in central Europe are located idyllically at the edge of the old town. Magnificent Renaissance fountains adorn the Maximilianstrasse. Starting at Rathausplatz, we shall walk along the canals in the old artisans’ quarter until we reach the Rotes Tor, the city wall and the water towers.
